Effective date: 23 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the independent developer of HomeVault (“HomeVault”, “I”, “me”, or “my”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit homevault.opero.tools or join the early-access waitlist.

HomeVault is currently a product concept in development. This policy covers the website and waitlist. It will be updated before any future product collects purchase documents or other account data.

When you join the waitlist, I may collect:

The website may also collect limited technical and usage information, such as browser and device details, approximate location derived from an IP address, visited sections, and interactions with page elements.

How I use information

Marketing messages are sent based on your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time by using an unsubscribe link or emailing contact@opero.tools.

Cookies and Google services

The website stores a cookie named hv_variant for up to one year so that you see a consistent version of the landing page.

The website also uses Google measurement services to understand visits, interactions, waitlist sign-ups, and advertising performance. Google may receive technical and usage information and may set or read cookies in accordance with its own policies. You can learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy and control advertising personalization through My Ad Center.

How information is shared

I do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared only with service providers that help operate the website, deliver the waitlist, measure usage, or maintain security. These providers may process information only for those purposes and under their own contractual and legal duties.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to respond to a valid legal request, or to protect users, the website, or the rights and safety of others.

Data retention

Waitlist information is kept while HomeVault is in development and for as long as needed to provide requested updates, understand interest in the product, or meet legal obligations. If you unsubscribe or ask for deletion, I will remove or anonymize your information unless it must be retained for legal, security, or record-keeping reasons.

Usage information retained by Google is subject to the retention settings and policies of the relevant Google service.

International processing

Service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for such transfers.

Security

I use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system can, however, be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information, or to request a portable copy. You may also withdraw consent and complain to your local data-protection authority.

To exercise a privacy right, unsubscribe, or ask a question, email contact@opero.tools. I may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Children’s privacy

The website and waitlist are not directed to children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information, please contact me so it can be deleted.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as HomeVault develops or legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how waitlist information is used, I will provide additional notice where appropriate.
